United Structures, the leading Cold-Formed Steel Truss Fabricator/Erector in South Georgia is seeking a highly talented, energetic, motivated person to fill a Project Manager position. You will manage all activities associated with the construction of an assigned project. This may include managing or coordination with a team of Project Coordinators, Engineers, Production, and Field Erectors. The individual must be capable of inspiring a cohesive office, shop and field environment that will maintain a company reputation as a leader in service and quality.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following abilities:
• 5-7 years of experience in a Construction Project Management.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Ensure that all contractual terms and obligations of assigned projects are maintained.
• Ensures projects meet cost requirements. Meets with Senior Management if costs exceed
  budget and obtains permission before approving out-of–budget costs.
• Assures proper accounting for project change orders.
• Negotiates and manages subcontracts.
• Assists the Engineering Department, Production Coordinator, Purchasing Department, and
  Customers in adhering to project schedules.
• Write Requests for Information and follow up with customers to ensure they receive all
  requested information.
• Meets with customers and vendors to identify potential barriers with resolutions that maximize
  production and minimize costs.
• Visits job sites as needed and required.
• Reviews plans and proposals and determines proper procedures in order to accomplish
  company goals.
• Ensure all aspects of projects are properly and thoroughly documented to ensure United
  Structures’ interests are protected.
• Ability to maintain and improve our corporate culture and core values.
• Must be charismatic, organized, highly motivated and proactive.
• Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced operation.
