Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial and/or residential construction Superintendent.
• Experience in cold formed stud framing, wood framing and structural steel erection is a plus.
• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is a plus.
• OSHA Certifications, Safety Training, Continuing Education and Equipment Training is a plus.
• Must be able to travel 80% of the time.
• Capable of reading and interpreting drawings.
• Capable to supervise and manage field personnel and subcontractors as required to successfully complete the projects.
• Organized
• Ability to be instrumental in all phases of the project from initial planning to completion/close out.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam and scheduling softwares.
• Excellent listening skills and have strong communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain project documentation, daily report and etc.
• Inspect the quality of work for compliance with design drawings and ensure corrective action occurs if/when necessary.
• Be able to establish credibility with our clients, vendors and subcontractors.
• Construction document and drawing literature.
